FDC – Composite Dome Type Bursting Discs – Rupture Discs

These rupture discs are designed and manufactured by FDC, who have over 25 years of experience in this highly competitive international market. Their products can be specified to product standards including KS B ISO 4126, KOSHA, ASME Code Section VIII, API RP520, and the ISO-9001:2008 quality system.

Composite domed bursting discs rely on the combination of the top domed section that is laser cut and the seal to prevent leakage. A vacuum support is also used for vacuum resistance to full vacuum or in some cases – large back pressure. The composit e domed burting disc is a forward acting tension loaded disc that can be reliably operated in static and mild pressure cycling conditions from full vacuum to 80% of its burst pressure.

· It is used with installation on FDC standard holder
· Composite/Dome structure ruptured by slit processed on Top disc
· It consists of Top disc, Seal disc and Vacuum disc
